These Terms of Service govern use of Connection Game (web application for leadership and team development). They apply to:
- the customer organization (employer/client purchasing licenses), and
- end users (leaders and team members using the Service).
By using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

1. What Connection Game is
Connection Game is an AI-powered service for leadership and team development. It helps teams build psychological safety and better collaboration by:
- analyzing meeting data (audio + transcription) and other in-app interaction
- providing insight into team dynamics and communication
- offering each user a personal AI coach with advice and micro-challenges
- showing development over time in dashboards for teams and individuals
Core features include:
- Meeting analysis: upload/recording of meetings, transcription, and team reports
- Team dashboard: overview of factors such as error culture, constructive disagreement, inclusion, risk-taking, teamwork, and recognition
- Personal coach: conversations with an AI coach using your profile and team context; chat history is stored on your account for continuity
- Profiles and insight: individual and team profiles based on use of the Service
- Optional Big Five profile: personality test (only with consent)
2. Who the agreement applies to
Customer organization — the legal party contracting with Connection Game AS. Responsible for who receives licenses, how insights are used internally, and lawful use (employment law, privacy, etc.).
End users — individuals (leaders and team members) who access the Service through their organization.
Connection Game AS — data controller for core profiling in the Service (calculation and display of profiles, analyses, and recommendations) and provider of the SaaS platform.
3. User account and access
- You need a personal account linked to your name and email address.
- Access is normally provided through your customer organization (license).
- You are responsible for protecting login credentials, not sharing your account, and keeping your profile information accurate.
Connection Game may suspend or terminate an account for misuse, security risk, or breach of these Terms.
4. Data processed
See the Privacy Policy for details. In summary:
- Basic user data (name, email, membership, licenses)
- Team and role data
- Profile data and analyses from use of the Service
- Usage and technical logs
- Meeting data and voice analysis where enabled
- Chat history with your AI coach
- Big Five data if you voluntarily take the test and consent
We use data to deliver, operate, and improve the Service and to provide insight and support to you and your team.
5. Legal bases and consent
- Core use of the Service (account, team insight, profiles, meeting analysis, etc.) is based on contract with the customer organization and our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning service.
- Certain features require your consent, including the Big Five personality profile and any other features clearly marked with separate consent checkboxes.
You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
6. Meeting recordings, transcription, and analysis
Where voice analysis is enabled, authorized users may record or upload meetings.
- Audio is used for transcription and team- and individual-level analyses.
- Audio files are automatically deleted within 24 hours after upload.
- Transcriptions are deleted within 180 days after creation.
The customer organization is responsible for informing meeting participants about recording and obtaining consent where required by law.
7. Sub-processors and storage
We use selected sub-processors to deliver the Service, including:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- OpenAI — text analysis, meeting analysis, AI coach, profiling
- Soniox — speech-to-text
- pyannoteAI — speaker diarization
- AssemblyAI — speech-to-text
- Resend — transactional email
- Stripe — payments (CG Transcript product)
- PostHog — analytics
- Render — hosting
Data is processed primarily in the cloud. Where possible we use EU/EEA regions and configurations that minimize unnecessary retention at providers and do not use your content to train their models.

8. Retention and deletion
Retention follows the Privacy Policy. In summary:
- Basic user data and profiles: while the organization has an active agreement, plus a limited period afterward for legal, documentation, support, and complaint purposes.
- Big Five data: only while your consent applies.
- Audio: deleted within 24 hours after upload.
- Transcriptions: deleted within 180 days.
- Chat history: while you are an active user; deleted or anonymized after account or agreement termination, subject to legal retention requirements. You may delete chat history in the Service where the feature is available.
- Technical logs: as needed for security and compliance.
On valid erasure requests we delete or anonymize data to the extent permitted by law.
9. User responsibilities
You agree to:
- use the Service for leadership and team development purposes
- not misuse the Service for harassment, surveillance, or unlawful control of others
- respect others’ privacy and sharing settings in the Service
- not attempt to bypass security or manipulate analysis results
Connection Game may respond to misuse, including suspending access or notifying the customer organization.
10. Privacy rights
Your rights under privacy law are described in the Privacy Policy, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent.

11. Intellectual property
- Connection Game AS (and licensors) owns all rights in the Service, including software, design, text, models, analyses, and branding.
- You receive a non-exclusive, time-limited, non-transferable right to use the Service under your organization’s agreement and these Terms.
- You retain ownership of content you submit (text, reflections, uploads, coach chats, etc.), but grant us a limited license to use it to deliver and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Availability and changes
We strive for stable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may update and develop the Service and change how features appear or work. Material changes to functionality or these Terms will be communicated clearly, for example in the Service or via the customer organization.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- Connection Game AS is not liable for indirect loss, consequential damage, or loss of revenue/profit from use or inability to use the Service
- the customer organization is responsible for how insights are used in HR processes, leadership follow-up, etc.
- the Service is a support tool for reflection and development, not a substitute for professional judgment, leadership responsibility, or professional advice
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, our practices, or applicable law changes (including GDPR or the EU AI Act).
For material changes we will notify you clearly. The latest version date is always shown at the top.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law.
Disputes should first be resolved through dialogue between the customer organization and Connection Game AS. Failing that, disputes may be brought before the ordinary courts with Oslo District Court as venue, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
